Last month I announced my partnership with my supplier Trade Coffee to try a whole bunch of beans this month and report back with my favorite roast. So, like the good *influencer* and marketeer that I am, I of course coordinated these findings with International Coffee Day. Please hold your applause.
I’m a coffee influencer now so, for September, I’ve partnered with my supplier @tradecoffeeco to review my favorite roast at the end of the month.

To add to the hype (and I know you’re excited), I gave you my absolute best throughout the month with regards to my now *infamous* dunking on my coffee archnemesis, Keurig. Seriously, f—k those guys.
Keurig is the Juul of coffee. Ban it.

Needless to say, I’ve been living my best coffee life lately and I thank you for helping turn my passion and love for coffee into something much greater than just me nerding out over bean water.
Now, what did I drink? Below are the roasts I brewed throughout the month along with my tasting notes which can all be found on the Coffee Log over on Buy The Drip.
Temple Coffee Roasters – Fazenda Samambaia from Brazil
- A superb cup of coffee that will put a smile on your face. Rich and sweet. Excellent for your everyday cup.
Madcap Coffee – Party from Ethiopia
- It’s like drinking a bowl of fruit candy. Incredibly sweet and living up to its name.
Tandem Coffee Roasters – La Cabana from Costa Rica
- Dynamic and floral to the hilt. You can miss its deep blueberry flavor. It was unique as it was enjoyable.
Kuma Coffee – Gachatha from Kenya
- A full flavored delight with a crisp clean finish I find in most Kenyan coffees . It’s not overly fruity and it smells heavenly.
Spyhouse Coffee Roasters – *Decaf* Union Blend from Peru
- Rich and sweet. Perfect for desert. However, it’s still more of a medium/dark roast typical of most decafs.
While I enjoyed drinking everything I tried, the coffees from Temple and Kuma were the standouts. However, swaying my vote was a slight overdosing of super fruity coffees from the summer. The rich and full bodied cups out of Brazil and Kenya were a nice change and the perfect way to prepare for Autumn and the cooler weather ahead.
Well, there you have it. Now go get some dank beans and step up your daily addiction. But, before I go, I want to give a special thanks to my friends at Trade Coffee for sponsoring my addiction and desire to help everyone drink a better cup of coffee. Come see why they call me “The Big Dripper” over on Twitter:
STOP discriminating against different coffee brewing methods…
Drip is CLASSIC
French Press is DECADENT
Pour Over is DYNAMIC
Syphon is UNIQUE
Cold Brew is REFRESHING
Keurig
Espresso is COMPLEX
