In late 2016, he and his wife, Heather, had just side hustled through her maternity leave to write their book, The Millennial Money Fix (Career Press, 2017), when they decided to move their young family away from New York City. They settled in Westfield, New Jersey, a community-focused town with strong history and, as they soon learned, people juggling the same obligations as them. While maintaining the firm’s main offices in Manhattan, Douglas is ecstatic to bring his services to New Jersey and offer local clients the flexibility to meet at the mercy of their New Jersey Transit train schedules.
