Well, hello there. Boy, the content creation game can be a tough one. What have I gotten myself into? Between running the practice and just about everything else life has to offer, it’s hard to stay on top of a blog, pump out social media and focus on marketing. It never ends, but it’s all good stuff! Moving on.
Last week was a particularly fun and exciting week. My associate and I went out to Brooklyn to station our booth at the Northside Innovation Expo in McCarren Park. Think of it as a mini SXSW. Normally, people will avoid the financial advisor (oh the stigma!), however the response was the complete opposite. Talk about proof of concept! He likes it, Hey Mikey!
We attracted and engaged young professionals non-stop on both days. I was able to converse with the millennial public on financial topics that were important them, engage in discussions on financial literacy and get into how one can work with a financial professional early on in their lives, regardless of how much wealth they have accumulated.
So, a huge thank you to those who attended and stopped by to speak with us. I sincerely appreciated all the compliments on the brand and the, ever so fresh, bouffant logo. Most important, however, is that the message I am delivering is being well received. The people want to be financial empowered and it’s this kind of reaction that keep me fired up.
