Monday night’s Nightly Business Report, which airs across the nation, debuted the three part CNBC special titled Millennials & Money, which I filmed back in May with Sharon Epperson. I had a brief feature in Part 1: The Biggest Financial Barriers for Millennials, but was back for Part 3: Student Debt Ripple Effect to discuss the outlook for the millennials. The airing of this series not only excites me for personal reasons (I mean it’s not everyday you’re on national TV), but also because the very personal finance topics that I feel so passionately about (see The Millennial Problem) is surfacing on mainstream media. The financial issues and constrains we face as a generation are real and people are starting to take note. Awareness is the first step to solving a problem and I feel that exposure like this is getting the word out there at a fast clip.
